Essential Oils

Esential oils are fragrant and healing. This last spring on the last day of school I ended up at the doctors office with severe pain. I was down for six weeks and not one medical doctor could tell me what exactly was wrong, even though it was written in black and white on my cat scan. They were so focused on one issue that they did not think out of the box.

Functional medicine along with muscle testing helped me immensely with a doctor who has and is studying functional medicine. Through the natural foods and food supplements along with his healing hands I am getting better.

My two sisters started using essential oils a year ago and convinced me to try them. A year ago I put a diffuser in my class room that had an oil that was supposed to clean out the air of all bacteria. I used it for a couple of weeks, then I became very ill. My intent was to be the only teacher who did not get sick, then I could fill the other teachers in on my secret. I knew they would then want to purchase essential oils from me. Well, that did not work out very well, so I put the oil away and did not pull it out of hiding until this last spring when I became very ill.

One sister gifted me with an Essential oil book, which explained how to use the oils. I was in so much pain I was willing to try anything. Geranium, rosemary, and lemon are supposed to heal the gallbladder, ginger and thyme are supposed to help with the pelvic congestion syndrome (pelvic migraine), and lemon grass is supposed to be very good for varicose veins.

Soaking in a hot bath for 10 minutes once a day with a couple drops of ginger and thyme is

how I began every day. Then the geranium, rosemary and lemon were rubbed across my gallbladder and on the bottom of my right foot, (that is where the pressure point is for the gallbladder). I would then mix lemon grass with coconut oil and rub it on the back of my right leg. I did this regime every day all summer long. Staying at home and relaxing, working on how to work a home based business was my focus.

Essentials oils are healing and very fragrant. I did not realize how earthy I was smelling until I went into public. My co-workers all commented on my scents. Some smelled the lemon, some smelled the rosemary, some became ill from the smell. I began to feel like Pig Pen in Charlie Brown. I visualized these aromas surrounding me and floating in space every where I went. I began cutting back on how many drops I was using to not be to offensive.I suppose it has helped because now my students think I smell good.

My gallbladder is still in my body and it is better. My veins are improving every day. Along with what doctor Rostenburg has been doing and the essential oils I feel very good.

There are a few places in which to buy these healing oils: health food stores, DoTerra, and Ananda. It is well worth the time and energy if you are interested in natural healing.

Have a good evening and I hope tomorrow finds you well.
